Analysis of the impact of emotional intelligence and vocational calling on post-traumatic growth showed that emotional intelligence was the most significant predictor variable. Moreover, there was a mediating effect of vocational calling in the relationship between emotional intelligence and post-traumatic growth.

It is necessary to device strategies which strengthen emotional intelligence and vocational calling in order to improve the post-traumatic growth of police officers.
